I am happy to finally report that I have my setup completed! It took months from the time I ordered until I completed this due to a backorder of my base. I really like the setup now that I figured out a solution for my heating. I had a piece of tempered glass made to fit in the top of the base inside the metal edge. I attached my heat tape to this glass and then placed the enclosures on top of the base. I had to put spacers between the base and enclosure bottoms so that the probes would not get crushed. All is working well, and the snakes are adapting to their new surroundings. Customer support from Zen was excellent! I appreciate the assistance with the pieces that I broke while assembling. Two issues need to be addressed moving forward: 1. Under tank heating options for those who are housing snakes 2. Make those plastic connectors easier to get in and out of the rails. Other than that - all is well in my reptile world. Thank you!
