Glass is glass, but they got it out quickly, and customer service is fantastic

I absolutely love the glass doors! My other enclosure has them already and I’ll be ordering another set for my third enclosure that still has the acrylic doors. Highly recommend!!

Zen is amazing! The possibilities are ever increasing for the reptile room:)

I really like the glass. Unfortunately a too aggressive opening shattered one of our doors. On a plus side the door did stay stuck to its adhesive so our beardie was not showered with glass.
I do recommend these doors, but make sure to put something in place to keep the door from hitting the knob on another door. (something rubbery)

Get doors. Wish we would of purchased these right from the beginning.

I bought the glass doors for my 4X2X2 Zen habitat. They came all scratched up so I contacted Customer Service and they immediately sent out a replacement. Low and behold the second set came scratched up and the film on one of them was bubbled up. I sent them all back because they didn't look any better than the acrylic one that came with it. Just for the record; the acrylic ones are scratched too.

The glass doors are a necessary upgrade if your lizard likes to claw at the door. The acrylic doors quickly become scratched and cloudy looking. The glass doors solve that problem.

Trash! We moved our Zen 4x4 and the glass SHATTERED in a million pieces I am still getting glass out. You ask for help and they tell you that it’s NOT shattered resistant. I’m so upset I will never purchase another Zen again! Almost 600.00 later

The glass doors are way better than plexi are aesthetically pleasing and do a much better job than the plexiglass since they won’t scratch, however one of the big problems is that they come with a clear plastic gasket on one end which appears to be for the bottom part to slide the glass back-and-forth, however, this creates a problem when trying to install the glass pieces they are just a little bit too big; so you have to tap open the top of the enclosure slightly to be able to fit these in and that is a problem that needs to be corrected. I would like to see these glass doors available on the 4 x 2 x 4 as well.

Everything is overall poor quality...
Glass broke simply by sliding it.... That isn't tempered glass as tempered glass shatters into a ton of little pieces. It's probably laminated. If it is tempered, then someone probably cut it after production which is something that is a def. no no.
The metal pieces are okay, but they could be sturdier.
The pvc panels seem to have edges that kind of crumble.
From inquiring to a diverse group of people it seems these panels aren't even standard pvc... its a composite.. think ikea quality wood....
I did make a mistake the first time around and after constant talking they did replace things but really not fond of the service provided.
They were polite, and I did lose my temper after constant back and forth so on that part it's my bad and I do apologize.
The idea of the products are great as ideas but the execution is heavily lacking due to the many shortcuts taken.
Bunch of pet youtubers heavily endorse it such as clint from clint's reptiles, dbcb exotics, etc but they do admit they received free items... soo.... keyword there.
If you want a more honest all around review I would say to look up Emma Lynne Sampson, or GoHerping (though not fond of alex he does speak the truth).
The items worth purchasing imho wouls be the zen caves and the zen matts.
Should probably seal the seams with 100% silicone if you want it to not leak...
The boards kind of rattle as the animals move about when you just use the zen mats, kind of loudly....
Anyways tl;dr :
Materials used for these enclosures are really low quality and there's better options out there that would set you back a 100-200$ more.
The only thing I liked from this store was the zen cave. Wanted to buy more but I wasn't happy with the customer service I got first time around. I am sorry for not keeping my cool after some exchanges, that was very lame of me but it still doesn't take away from how I truly feel.
Also every affiliate recommending them is getting free stuff from them so would take their reviews with a grain of salt.
Lastly, I wouldn't had even sent a review if you stopped sending me frequent emails to review your products.... smh. Especially after I unsubscribed earlier today.
So for the love of whatever you believe in stop asking me for reviews unless you're prepared for unfiltered thoughts.

Thank you so much for the great customer service! You guys are amazing!

The glass came scratched the film was peeling and had bubbles under it. I will never order from them again.

These doors are heavy, and do not scratch up like acrylic will over time. My dragons are spoiled and scratch at the door, so I got in front of that by going with glass.

The first set came shattered, but customer service was awesome and able to send me a replacement ASAP! They look beautiful and I am so excited. Though it is currently housing my plants and not a lizard, I am extremely excited to get my bearded dragon into the tank with the new doors!

My glass doors broke and customer service was quick to send me a replacement. Thank you so much.

After the glass broke, they replaced it right away. This is why I will always choose this company

I like the glass as they don't get scratched by by dragon's claws. But, there was an issue with the shipping (very likely due to UPS, not due to Zen Habitats directly). The padding around the edges is very good, but there is not real padding on the faces. I was expecting to open and find a shattered sheet of glass based upon how the box looked (it had obviously been stabbed by something). But instead I only have a scratch in the film that protects it from shattering into disconnected shards if the glass does break, and a small divot/notch about a foot away from the film scratch that goes a little deeper (the glass itself appears slightly damaged here, but it isn't really). The glass itself seems to be holding up, and I expect a better packaging could have prevented this issue, but they would probably just invent a worse UPS driver to compensate. It wasn't bad enough to make me want a replacement, though it was close.
I wish the directions had pointed out a little bit better that you have to ensure you glue the plastic strips on the bottom of each sheet of glass carefully because you have to make sure you don't accidentally put the strips on in such a way the film side for one of them would HAVE to be on the inside as that side would then be very prone to scratching as the film is very soft. More due to luck than anything else I didn't mess this up too badly. I would have prefered the one sheet that's damaged be on the far side of the enclosure where it would be partially hidden by another terrarium I have, but due to the handles, I can't do that unless I put the film for both on the inside.

With the filmed coating, two of the doors that I bought (I bought two sets) make the doors look like they have scratches and holes in them. It would also be nice if there was a sheet of paper inside that said not to remove the coating. My sister took the film off not knowing it was supposed to stay on so now I have to buy another set due to the way it looks now. Had I known it would still looked scratched after buying the more expensive glass I wouldn’t have. The glass also wobbles. When I walk past the terrarium, I can hear the glass vibrating with my steps. Felt like I waisted a bunch of money for nothing.

much better than the acrylic ones

Great improvement to my tanks! I have bearded dragons that scratched up the acrylic panels very quickly, so this was a no brainer! Just be careful not to apply too much glue to the sliders or it will make a mess. Also, make sure to let the glue dry overnight so you don't get glue in your door tracks like I did! Anyways, these are fantastic and make sure to install the doors the correct way, with the film on the outside!

They broke in 2 days

It is so much more enjoyable to look through clear glass rathwr than scratched up plexi glass. Thank you so much for the improvement! You guys are awesome!!!!!

The new doors really are a nice addition to the tank. They are easier to clean and not scratch.

Did not even last a week, was never rough. I was always careful when opening and closing. Door still shattered. Save your money. just stick with the original doors that come with the enclosure.. very disappointed in this product.
