Emitting a crisp 6500 kelvin daylight spectrum, New Dawn closely mimics the visible light spectrum of the sun, promoting optimal photosynthesis in live plants while also enhancing alertness, optimizing activity levels, and boosting mental health in reptiles. 

Unlike basic white LEDs, New Dawn delivers a high Color Rendering Index (CRI), allowing plants, décor, and animals to appear vivid and true-to-life like they would under natural sunlight. Pair the Proten New Dawn with quality linear UVB lighting and appropriate heat sources to create a layered, biologically appropriate lighting system that supports plant growth, basking behavior, and overall reptile well-being. For best results, mount overhead to evenly flood the enclosure with visible light.

As always, provide shaded and low-light areas within the enclosure so your reptile can retreat to dimmer areas if so desired– just as they would in the wild.
